Zymetrical Beats Groucho Guinness Record

On April 30th 2005, the Pottstown Relay for Life and the Merchant Association of Pottstown, Pennsylvania joined forces to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society, by taking a crack at the groucho guinness record. Despite unfavorable weather conditions, organizers convinced 1,157 people to slap on a goofy pair of glasses for this good cause.

Just 5 weeks later on June 7th, 2005, the South Carolina Pelicans minor league baseball team hit a home run, when 1,827 fans simultaneously wore a pair of our groucho glasses for 15 minutes.

Then, this past Friday, June 24th 2005, the Norwich Navigators baseball team, a Double A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, surpassed the previous attempt from two weeks ago, when 2,748 fans participated in their groucho event.
